Eye and Retina Care Centre ( ERCC) was previously known as Karandikar Maternity and Nursing Home. It was established at Shankar Nagar by Dr Chintaman Karandikar and Dr Madhugandha Karandikar. Later, with Dr Shriram Karandikar joining in, ophthalmology speciality service was established. It is now a super speciality eye care centre with state of the art facilities at its branches at Shankar Nagar and Kotwal Nagar ( Khamla).
