Dr Karandikar’s Eye & Retina Care Centre
Eye & Retina Care Centre was established in 1991 by Dr Shriram C Karandikar at Shankar Nagar and has grown to a well-equipped super specialty eye care center branch at Khamla.
Academic excellence with clinical and surgical expertise backed by more than 35 years of experience enables Eye & Retina Care Centre to provide excellent eye care to people across Nagpur, peripheral districts and other states as well. ERCC provides service for Cataract Cornea, Spectacle removal surgeries (LASIK, PRK, ICL).
ERCC has well equiped operation theatre with modular OT, Laminar airflow.

Eye and Retina Care Centre ( ERCC) was previously known as Karandikar Maternity and Nursing Home. It was established at Shankar Nagar by Dr Chintaman Karandikar and Dr Madhugandha Karandikar. Later, with Dr Shriram Karandikar joining in, ophthalmology speciality service was established. It is now a super speciality eye care centre with state of the art facilities at its branches at Shankar Nagar and Kotwal Nagar ( Khamla). Academic excellence with clinical and surgical expertise, backed by more than 35 years of trust and experience enables ERCC to provide advanced eye care services.
The team at ERCC with Dr Shweta Mokadam & Dr Smita Upadhye bring the latest in eye care to the city. ERCC provides services for cataract with permium lens implantation, corneal diseases, medical and surgical retina problems, glaucoma mangement, contact lenses, spectacle removal procedures, etc.
